30.09.2024: New machines for the apprentice workshop

30.09.2024

Our apprentice workshop was recently equipped with two brand new conventional lathes from the manufacturer Knuth - the Basic 180V models. These offer our apprentices the ideal opportunity to learn the basics of machining. This promotes both dexterity and hand-eye coordination - an important step in their technical training.

What's new? Compared to the old models, the new machines are more robust and equipped with a stepless gearbox. Thanks to a constant cutting speed, the trainees can work even more precisely and efficiently.

Care and responsibility In addition to technical skills, careful working methods and responsible handling of the machines is a key learning objective. Our trainees are optimally prepared for the challenges they will face in practice.

More quality for future projects By using these machines, we can further improve the quality of our projects. Interns and students who come to us as part of TiP, LiP or Think Tech can also try out the lathes.

We are delighted to provide our trainees with this modern technology and make them fit for the future!
