Dietzel one-piece with satisfaction guarantee

Due to the limited space available in machines and systems, hydraulic piping and cooling systems must be precisely adapted to the installation space. It is also important that they can be easily installed without having to connect numerous screw connections.

Using the current example of our product of the month, we present a cooling water system from an injection molding machine manufacturer that presented us with particular challenges. During the assembly process, the employees had screwed the manifold together with malleable cast iron components themselves. All fittings had to be individually sealed with a Teflon tape. Tight space conditions meant that the 90° bends had to be precisely aligned with each other. This was very time-consuming and labor-intensive and required frequent maintenance due to the large number of screw connections.

Optimized Dietzel solution offers numerous advantages

Together with our customer and our engineers, we took a very close look at the machine on site. Using additional photos and drawings, the existing solution was analyzed in detail and an optimized 3D model was created. Based on the Dietzel modular system, a one-piece prototype was then built and optimized. After customer approval, series production began. Thanks to the high level of vertical integration at Dietzel Hydraulik ( ), bending, welding and soldering of components is possible without any problems. In the course of the development process, all pipe clamps and screw connections on the cooling water manifold were thus eliminated from the tempered cast predecessor. The optimized component is also given a chemical nickel coating to protect it from wear and corrosion. The customer received a ready-to-install and tested component from Dietzel delivered directly to the assembly line and benefits from an optimized total cost of ownership.
